simple answer: if you are in H1b then you can have as many h1bs as you want but wherever you work that company needs to file H1b for you. Period.
You can not have H1b for a company and work for different company. You can try to work but if you are caught (e.g speeding or something else) then you will be charged with violation of your Visa . So Do not jeopardize your future for few $$$.
