Good news is you can avoid high-level competition in present situation and create a competitive advantage in long-term. Look into from business perspective than planning to be an 10-5 employee again when you go back. If you don't have any prior experience read a book on economics and few other books to get ideas. I know the situation back home is not ideal but at the same time new businesses are flourishing too as well as old, you will see yourself when you go back. Something to think about. It's something I'd personally do however decision is all yours.
