All student should file 1040 NR which is for non-resident alien . Did you file as a non resident alien or 1040EZ?
If you did not file 1040 NR , either stick with it as you have filed. If you want to correct it you have to amend your previous filings.
Yes iRS will caught you if you file 1040 NR if you had filed previous 1040 EZ.
