Yes federalism was not needed for Nepal. We already had 5 development regions, 14 zones and 75 districts. People were living relatively harmoniously.
But everything changed during Maoist's war. Nepalese were so fed up of the war and the decaying political situation of the country that any move from the political leaders, no mater how absurd and treasonous it may have seemed, went well without any protestation.
In a big part, it was our fault, nepalese citizen's fault to not have kept these corrupt political leaders in check.
We know how to protest and strike but we do not know when to carry them.
I wonder if the country will ever get better when I hear news about the director of Nepal Oil Corporation selling oil in black market.
It is becoming a country of corrupts.
