I was on same boat till last week. I talked with my DSO and they told me that I can start working more than 20 hrs but alert me to maintain gpa too without hampering study else I might have to loose my f-1 status. It's better to inform your DSO and sent them whatever documents you have like copy of ead card. most probably I will be joining my job from next week.
