Law of Diminishing Marginal Utility and Relationships

I guess it's no different than the excitement one gets into while shopping one's first car and the care and car washes (and perhaps facebook snapshots) it gets. And within weeks, if not months, it just becomes a vehicle, when other priorities of life takes over. And may be pretty soon a newer model or perphaps a luxury sporty brand overshadows it all.

That's life. I guess restaurants would go out of business if law of marginal utility was not true that people would not get tired of eating at home.

Well there are exceptions to every rule too. I like to continue driving my car from 90s, keep fixing it and keep it running like the day i bought it. And still feel that excitement.
