ujil, I cannot agree more about the state of affairs with SLC in Nepal. While from policy perspective, it is a joke played on our collective psyche demonstrating utter failure of our educational system; from a society perspective it is no less a monstrous schism. During our times, SLC was a vehicle for elite schools to show their board toppers thus their prowess. Today, an example from another news article's single word sadly conveys the desperation of this debacle, Quote, she has failed the iron-gate, Unquote. What is this iron-gate? Where does this lead to?
