@To all bhuddi jiwi in Sajha: Those who vote NO for TPS
The logic behind providing TPS is since the affected country is in bad situation so the people who are already here can be temporarily stay here. If the people here are sent back, its more burden to the country.
The logic some people are saying is since the Nepal earthquake may not have effected the people here and real victims are not here in US but in Nepal. That is correct.
Let me ask you all the so call smart Nepali, why is the TPS even given by US?
Why is the biggest and strongest country in the world with all the great minds in the world, does not know or think that TPS won't help the effected area or country?
Are we saying that TPS should not be even granted to any country or people?
Are we saying that we are more smart than the people running the strongest country in the world?
Are we more patriotic towards our country so we left our country and staying in the foreign land?
No one is begging or saying create a new law and regulation for Nepal and Nepali.
Since the US government already has this provision and some of the fellow Nepali who are in US can take benefit from it, why not to give them?
Some said it does not help the real affected people. I agree. 100%
But, what can US do?
Every year some natural calamities hit the world. Last year in India 10000 people died. Or other countries like Africa many rivals are fighting. The foreigners are killed in the hotel.
So, can US provide the GC and Temporary status to all those people.
Wake up, there are more than 7 billion world population and more than half of them are in trouble. The whole middle east is in trouble. Should the US government provide the temporary status to all those people.
Please look at the reality. We all Nepalese act emotional. We do not think of reality.
Being emotional and saying that the TPS won't help the needy people is stupid.
Look from the practicality point. US cannot provide status to all those 1 million people in Nepal. (It maybe more but just my guess).
Please think rationally.
My few thoughts.
