Snow clad mountains, green hills, ranges that we see and take it as examples of beautiful creation of the Nature are actually the produce of violent friction of tectonic plates underneath our earth's surface. Mount Everest in fact was created due to the biggest clash of continents. Few months ago, rapid sink holes were observed near the fault lines in Pokhara region. I knew pressure was building but wasn't expecting something disastrous of this nature would occur that early. Epicenter was not really close to Kathmandu yet so many people suffered with significant property damage and loss of lifes. Whenever earthquakes happen, it's not what kills, it's the structures that we built kill. Lamely asking for prayers and worshiping in this day and age is not gonna take us far from the reality, rather we should focus on building quake proof structures, import such techs within the nation and be earthquake proof in coming days. My heart goes out to every single person out there who died in this catastrophic event. I hope they stand strong and brave.
