@ny2 That was my question too. I had earlier thought it would be a good idea to send some money to Nepal without having to pay fees but the main question for these type of transactions is:
If I do not know this person, how does the transaction work. So from order of events perspective, will my folks receive the Deposit first? Or do I have to transfer money here, in the US, first? I think it is a trust based transaction, but is the risk worth it?

I am still using Western Union or Money Gram, but I would love to know how things work for other Sajhaiites here.
