Actually, it's the opposite. Rich usually look for cheap stuffs for their everyday needs whereas sons/daughters of riches or the middleclass(show-offs) are the ones who look for expensive stuffs. Poor don't have options, lets not even go there. There is a reason, why riches are rich. They're bigtime misers.
