Beofre Mithila, people had content about Limbuwaan
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Limbuwan
similarly in wikipedia there is content about Kochila

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tharu_languages

there are overlaping claims about same place. Although it seems like maihali was the first group of people who seteled in Organised way, Tharus were there before them. so why not Tharuhat ? whose history we want to rpeserve, whose Identtity we want to preserve?  land belongs to planet earth . Land does not belongs to any partticaular race, religion or culture.
That is why provinces based on ethenic identity is not scienticfic.
Therefore,
First,
Region should have identity of which group or which part should have identity of which group should decided by the groups who have made claims. In this case, Limbuwaan, mithila and tharu ppl

Second,
Maithil ppl claim pahadi ppl are destroying their identity,  but the wikipedia article says only 5%of ancient maithali is in Nepal, 95% maitahli is in India then why not separate Mithilanchal in India?

In India too, Hindi has dominated maitahli for centuraies, ( more than in Nepal)
but in India the call for separate mithila state is not that strong. then why in Nepal?

Hindi dominated, hindi speaking ppl dominated Maitahli is ok then why they have problem in Nepal? These are logical questions maithali ppl have to answer.

having said that, personally I dont have any oppossition to name a state in Nepal as "Mithila". They just have to agree to no special tretment to any language, religion and ethnicity. Every one should have equal rights
How they settle the problem of Limbuwaan, Kochila ( Kochula ppl claim than maithali dominated them for centuries and many tharus adopted to mathali language because of their dimination.)

here again, when they dominte kochila tharu language , its ok. But in Modern time when communication is very important, using nepali language as a language of communicatiob is domination? it is double standard.
