काग ले कान लग्यो भन्दै मा काग को पछाडी दौडने

First of all let me just say that i am for the death penalty for this heinous crime and men have no right to rape women even if women walk naked on the street or prostitutes herself let alone wear jeans, skirt or other skimpy clothes. Although i am not a huge supporter of death penalty, this case however demands one because our society (south asian) is just too prone to do whatever they want to do to people who do not follow the norm. Society encourages Perpetrators to rape in the name of conservatism. As the region is moving towards openness and liberalism society also needs to present a fear of possible punishments for falling out of line.

About the ban of the documentary, many Indians are also in line with punishing the culprit to their fullest extent. What they dont like is how the documentary tried to make a heroism of a rapist for giving him a coverage with statement like " now the girls will just be killed after rape" because of the death penalty". " i was driving the bus for 15 - 20 minutes" and the other gruesome details. After all, its never appetizing when a foreigner makes a video on your own disgusting matter in an attempt to humiliating and disrespecting the country , its people and the victims.

How convinient is it for the producers to doldrum on BAN while not addressing the ethics of jounalism with victim sentiments? All of a sudden India is looking double wrong for banning the video which is exactly what the producers want.

Brits pulled same crap on Indians that India would not back away from pulling to the countries inferior to themselves. There could be a political, economic, or a general hatred for India for the producers and their sponsor to produce such video. The documentary makers also let India know what their power is and who they are in this globe. India cannot stop BBC or youtube. But they certainly could bring chaos in a little country like Nepal.

I just wish India and the Indians took this incident as a lesson on how countries and people can feel when manipulated, humiliated, and disrespected by other countries.
