Peoples should have given a choice, keep him as a constitutional monarch or let him be a citizen.
Girija was too greedy for the Presidential position and said okay.

Gyanendra did stupid things too, he wanted to rule as Mahendra did.
Maoist made him ( Girija ) puppet (or became puppet ) on many political decisions.
