There are many articles available in internet about their role, many people question it some have critically analysed and some have supported their role. 

Similarly they were involved in Mali conflict back in 1990-1995 civil war, there was a symbolic truce but in few years time it broke again in its worst from.

There was a truce between Israli and palestine in Oslo  in 1993,but voilence ccontinued.

they are involved in columbian peace treaty betwwen govt and farc for last 10 years. .They said they were behind the treary but the problem is not completely solved yet and who knows after 30 years of fighting it was time for the movement to diedown or it was Norwegian involvement. 

In Nepal also Norwegian took intitiative many times before and after Lokendra bahadur chand became primminister but peace never took shape, rather voilence escalated.

Norway is also involved in some  INGO whose acitivites are highly questionable in Nepal.
