i also feel that balkrishna jee has a valid point ,we have to be more practical than decide things with the heart.
one disturbing fact he told is that about 40 lakhs(15% of total population) fake citizens were given nationality during the last CA election .thats a disgrace and it could be a major demographic factor for leaders with regional political agenda.
The terai population has exploded in the past 100 years because of immigrants being granted with nationality for votes, guestworkers for fields and factories,during rana and mahendra period and the high fertility rate prevelant.just look at the muslim population of which the ca member was pointing to ,it has increased in the last 30 odd years since they have more than one wife and the fertility rate for each of them is higher than any ethnic group .one cannot reject the fact that in future some kashmir or hyderabadlike situation may arise in certain terai belts of nepal .even in the last ca meetings, people have been talking about a special muslim personal laww for muslims including special rules on marriage (islamic court ,4 wives allowed).and they dont do family planning as islam vorbids it..
