The dictionary definition of a “janjati” is a “jungle tribe living on wild fruits and plant roots,” one that is “totally cutoff from the development rocess”.

Discrimination does not equal to a discrimination based on who is “Aadivas/Janajati” and who is not. Unlike other Hill tribes of Nepal, Newars have never, will never, fit into the “Aadivas/Janajati” thing neatly.

हैन मैले बुझ्न नसकेको कुरा चाहि : बाहुन र छेत्री बाहेक सबै  ( chitrakar , thapa magar  etc ) जनजाति ?? Heading should be intercast marriage not Janjati.
