I feel sorry for you but then I dont! You claim to be in legal field and have the arrogance to take them to the court if the need arises but are very naive about financial transactions. What were you thinking when they "requested" to send money from bank? No ethical transparent business would ask for money through bank transfer. This should have been the red flag for you and despite being a legal professional you did not see it.

When you got the reservation number for the tickets, why would you not go to the airline's website or call them to make sure that your reservation was CONFIRMED and not just RESERVED? Where's the due diligence on your part?

Now, all you can do is what you have claimed to do - file a case against them! Honestly, I don't know if this will do anything better than maybe bring you closure and possibly issue a warrant for fraud. I hope this case is a lesson learned for you and rest of our fellow brothers and sisters who trust fellow country men too easily and too much. Nonetheless, go ahead and file a case against them and serve them justice since what they did to you was wrong and illegal. Good Luck
