Thanks for your responses and I have decided that I will not do the transfer. @Prem101, vendor chai in terms of national origin, he is Indian, but definitely not like desi consultancies. It's a small local company. So, I have decided to share my dirty secret with as less people as possible. My employer has been very nice to me, and although I would get handsome raise after switching, in a bigger scheme of things and all risks considered, I am going to pass on and stick with my employer.
