Nepali people, when encountered with alien novelties.Unlike other tribes--muslims,jews,christians,shiks--we,have always been more inclined to try and test other's cultures and if deemed satisfying and wonderful,get quickly soaked up with it.It is also no wonder that people in Nepal celebrate Tihar with some specks of Indian resonance at a time when all the remote controls of each house is hijacked by the women-folks once the Indian tv-serials starts!!..At the end of the day,anything which brings happiness to the people and smile in their face are always welcome--without forgetting where our roots are i.e.
