My experience, many times when I say ppl my first name, they usually ask for my last name too, if ppl aren't that caste conscious why ask for your second name. Irritating :( Everyone should marry ppl outside their caste, 3 advantages: firstly the discrimination will be gone, secondly and more imp, u wil have BEAUTIFUL children (cough cough), thirdly and the most imp. stereotyping of castes will be removed!!!!!!!!!!
