I agree. I don't know why Nepalese treat dogs like Gods during Kukur Tihaar. Don't know why we worship snakes during Naag panchami. If we treat them like Gods they will control us and we will live in life of misery. Liberate yourself people!!

Hope you see the parallel there. Just because you follow the age-old ritual doesn't make us feel like Gods and trust me this doesn't give us any authority or motivation to suppress women.
