Miles away, the flashing light signaled the way back home,
Where I saw you waiting with the lantern and your hope alone,
I am badly wounded, my legs are trembling but your love is growing me strong.
I can feel your tears rolling down the cheeks wishing to see me again,
I'm tired and hungry and there, I smell the fresh wine with bacon.
I rocked my head back and forth imagining you everywhere,

Suddenly, I lost control and fell down, "stand up", the wind whispered me again,

I remember the day when we lay down counting the stars,
There-you used to distract me and begin counting from the start.
I wish the beauty is still the same as before,
This time I promise, I'll stay forever- for sure,
Then we'll run away from this world dancing with the rain,
I got the hi-coughs, I closed my eyes cause you just crossed through my brain.
Let the world mutter, we'll ride along with the sunset,
Let the world bring the harsh, we'll pass the every test.
"Rejoice", I jumped up and yelled when I saw the lantern,
My feet are alright but my eyes blinked seldom.
There again I fell down while my heart's becoming tame,
I tried to reach out my voice roaring your name,
You got a bad feeling while your heart beats like a drum,
You stood up scrubbing your fear while my voice played the strum.

Then I realized that my hands were giving pressure to the wound,
My eyes barely opened but visioned clearly about my dreams getting ruined,
The lieutenant starts blurting calling my name, slapping on my cheek,
My feet are getting cold while the bullet struck through my chest,
I gasped remembering your face, "my love, don't cry, I'm just taking a long rest,
I wish you a great future and I am praying for your best,
Send my love to my parents, I hope our unborn son touches the sky of success,
We'll meet again in the next life, will search for a bit of chance..
