Kathmandukaa Dalaal ji haru,
People who visit sajha are primarily hard working students including those who are tying to make ends meet with small jobs. They cannot afford any half-a-million dollar bungalows in Kathmandu, and for this reason you may want to try visiting Nepali Netajis homes. They all have stashed lots up cash and will have no problem investing in your real-state market. Trust me, majority of Nepali in the US are way poorer than people in Nepal. We are just trying to make ends meet here, and we often struggle with our monthly rent, and your advertisements come to us as a big shock. I kindly urge you to go somewhere else, or look for add section in sajha. Even if anyone among us is rich enough to buy new homes in Kathmandu they should stop doing it immediately. Kathmandu is overcrowded and is a highly volatile geo-mass. It could hardly sustain the current population of the valley. People living in KTM don't have proper sanitation, fresh air and they are more prone to earthquake related disaster than people living anywhere else in the world. We need to decentralize opportunities in districts such as Kapilvastu, Bardiya, Kailali, Kanchanpur, and many other terai and pahad villages..STOP promoting land sales in the valley. Just think, what happens if everyone starts migrating to KTM ?? There will be nobody in rest of the country. Do you even know how difficult it is to transport day-today-commodities to Katmandu to sustain current population. Kathmandu has become a disaster. You need to look somewhere else. You can do this business elsewhere too.
I am not against your intention to make money, but I think dalaal jis need to stop indulging people in overburdened Kantipuri-nagari-fantasy. Why don't you guys promote land sale in other regions of the county? We need more schools, hospitals, roads elsewhere in the country and less people, houses in Kathmandu. We need to shift opportunities elsewhere too.
To the buyers, You may want to shift your interests in buying your new homes in other regions of Nepal, Nepal all in all, is a beautiful country. We can make it even more beautiful. If you have skills/education, please also contribute and help people living in other regions of the country. If you want to start new businesses, schools, colleges, please also consider doing them in other cities too. We need to stop this rajdhani-centered growth. If you already have one house, why do you need two or three or more. You could also explore other diverse sectors for investment. We need more small-scale industries. We need to invest in ideas that generate jobs and could prevent migration of poor people to gulf countries and help them provide employment in the country. Nepal's population density is extremely high compared to developed countries. We need to leave some land for agriculture/farming purposes too. Kathmandu used to be one of the most fertile places in the nation, now people in Kathmandu don't even get to see paddy plant in their lifetime. The current situation of every Nepali is that your level of success is measured with the number of houses you own in Kathmandu which is utterly sad.
BP koirala ko samaajbaad le Nepali lai kahile chuna sakena.
Just my thoughts, and I did not intend to hurt anyone's business objectives.
