I am with you thukka, but let's think about what he said and what it does.

What he said is the truth, but is it going to make any difference? Are the minister going to stop taking the bribes because Ramesh Kharel asked them not to?

SSP Kharel earned some more kudos points from the public for saying this. He probably felt a little obligated to be more vocal when he was invited to these kinds of functions, he probably thinks that's what public expects from him.

Whether he did it for more popularity or he just wanted to share his opinion, it's not important to me. What is important for me or any other public is that he does a good job and in the past, he has done a good job comparatively (there are still crooks and criminals out there but let's forget that for now).

Now why was it wrong? Because he works for Nepal police and I am willing to bet it is against the code of conduct to speak in favor of a political party or make remarks as such; that too without presenting a clear evidence. By saying the controversial things he is jeopardizing his stay while trying to win popular sentiments. I am guessing he has a political career already carved, otherwise he is doing a disservice to all the work he has done in the past.
