Sumit, Welcome to the US. Which state you at? Stay in whatever state you at for 1 year. You will then be the resident of that state. In between that start looking for the state universities in your state and apply to couple of universities. Give SAT and TOEFL as soon as possible. After you apply, you can fill out FAFSA and get so much of federal and state grants. Right now, set an appointment with one of the admission advisers in your state university. You can directly go to the office of admissions and talk to the receptionist that you want to talk to a admission counselor. They will provide you all the information about your credits from Nepal and will provide you necessary steps you need to take. They are very helpful. Good luck and best wishes.
