AIDS comes with a baggage of social discrimination. Not only does the patient have to live in guilt and neglect as they are denied proper treatment and care, but even their families have to suffer the scourge of AIDS. For AIDS patients most often leave behind a family that is in no position to fend for itself economically or emotionally.
To set aside this stigma and give men, women and children affected with HIV/AIDS a hope to live a normal life, Gopal Shrestha from Pokhara, Nepal has his mind set to climb the world's highest peak, the Everest in the year of 2015. He has so far achieved his training and recently completed his last challenge to reach the summit of Island Peak 20,305' (6,189 m). Since there is always expense to this kind of dare and challenges, I would like to request all Nepalese to come together and help in some sort. Even couple dollars or pounds will mean a lot.
