I dont know how simply i can put it for you.

There should be no room for " munni badnaam huwi" and "gaand me lagi aag" kind of songs and music on a "Nepali Cultural Show", Dashian Party, and Tihar party....that has nothing to do with Nepali culture. There are some good Remix nepali dance numbers now. Know the time and place for right songs...thats all im saying.

There is a place for those catchy songs...Bars and Clubs are okay for those songs...i have danced on those songs in a bar too...there is a place for trash and i have enjoyed trash at the right venues. I am only against playing those numbers in every traditional occasion as if we do not have a tradition of our own. Now not saying that Nepali songs are better than Hindi songs but we should own up to our own trash than someone else's trash.

Every time these arguments show up, the burden is always on the people to prove they are not India haters. Some thinks its an art and others think its trash. Just because you hate bollywood movies does not make one India hater. There are lots of Indians who find Indian movies silly and do not waste their time on it. Its a choice, the choice should be respected the same way the Bollywood followers want their choice respected.
