The present day "Hinduism" is very rigid on its rituals and practices. The pure "Vedic Religion" has been forgotten and the distorted version of Vedic Religion which we call "Hinduism" has been followed by present day Hindus.
Many scriptures during Vedic age was composed by women seers. Women had a high place during vedic age but in modern Hinduism things have been changed. Caste system, rigid rituals, and many strange rituals are practiced by modern day Hindus which is totally absent in Vedic Religion.
I simply don't understand why so called "Non-Hindus" are not allowed in Pashupatinath when Vedas clearly declares that "Sarvam Khalu idam Bhraman" meaning "All this verily is Bhraman." Therefore, until and unless we bring back the pure Vedic Religion in Nepal, discrimination won't stop.
