If your friend is willing to help you that's great, go for it. Let [Disallowed String for - bad word]ing people hate you but other people in this planet have done same thing. I have seen many refugees from Africa helping their relatives to stay in this country. It's all about trust.
a) Many people have filed fake asylum
b) Many people have worked without paper during student visa

If OP is dirty than above two points are severe breach of law as well.
