Hydrogen bro, Nepal authority will not and cannot do anything about Istanbul airport or Turkish Air. The government simply has aviation agreement to allocate a certain number of flight from that country per week and thats pretty much what the government can do. What Nepal government and authority can do is make our country prosperous through job creation in country and stop other countries from looking at Nepali passport as worthless. If the country is prosperous and strong, people will have a different outlook about people as well as passport. Just look at the way an American or British passport is regarded in foreign travel.

Turkish started flights 2-3 times a week and soon they will have daily flights to Nepal because of demand. The authorities and government are happy as more flights to Nepal is more revenue generated through landing, take-off, ground handling fees. I think Turkish will stay as this is the only direct flight that connects Nepal to Europe. All we can do from our side is write to Turkish Air, fill out surveys if they have it, voice our opinion, caution friends and families about the possible bad situations.
