I think the layout is fine, much better than the old one. Come on everybody, San is doing a business and the only way of revenue is ads. So deal with it. It is obvious, everybody is worried about the looks, which as San says he's working on it. I personally could care less as long as it has something to come back again and again.

Some suggestions:

How about better upload picture sections. We have/had one but it was so primitive. I understand it will be a huge storage issue, but you can compress each of them and also set a limit on how many they can upload. I think in this day of facebook, letting people upload pictures is a must. If we can view profiles and their upload pictures, that will be a good start.

If you are working on that blog thing, it is a great idea too.
