Facebook is a medium to showcase one's path to success or happiness

Facebook is a filter which shows only positive parts of a person's life. Specially apps likes instagram and high quality blurred pictures magnify those positive parts.
Facebook is actually a main source of unhappiness in modern world. This has been proven scientifically. When you see a friend's picture having a vacation in hawaii and you are working in gas station then you get jealous and lead you toward unhappiness. When you see a pictures of your friend inviting another friend for dinner and having fun but didin't invite you then you feel bad. I can post thousands of lists like these. Jealousy is in our genes and you can't get rid of it. The only way not to have jealousy is not to trigger it i.e don't get too addicted to facebook or consume contents which trigger unhappiness from facebook. Actually facebook exploits the human nature which is human is a social animal and they love to share good things(not bad things). That's why facebook is so successful.

While saying that if you use facebook constructively then it can help you too. Here are some of the ideas.
1.) If you don't want to see those people who post only good parts of their life and who post too often, hide them from your NewsFeed. You don't have to unfriend them because you might want them in future.Just because they share too much doesn't mean they are bad people. They are simply shareaholic at this time.
2.) If you are visiting too many sites for News (like cnn,bbc and your local news) then you can simply subscribe them in facebook. That way you will get up to date with various news in one single place and you don't have to visit each site.You can save lots of time. Remember NewsFeeds are feeds that means it is pushed to you so you will look at it at least once. You will also get more familiar with what's going around your community.
3.) You can subscribe to learning site, fitness sites etc.. by liking them. That way those learning site pushed at least something to you everyday and you are compelled to look at it atleast once while scrolling.
The trick of above ideas is if you have box of chocolates in front of you then there is a 90% chance that you will eat it but if you have to get same box of chocolates from grocery store or haveto put some effort to get it then there is only 10% chance i.e You will consume those products which are served to you more easily than those products which are harder to get and requires your effort.
