LIFE: A DREAM

There are three kinds of people in this world: 1) Fools 2) Those who practice concentration & Meditation 3) Yogi (liberated sage) Life is a fantastic long dream. A dream which is seen while waking. There is another kind of dream which is seen while sleeping. However, both dreams are of same quality! When a person sleeps, he sees various kinds of dream. When a person is in a state of dream, there are three things involved in it: a perceiver, the process of perceiving, and objects that are being perceived. While sleeping, in a dream state, the single mind plays the role of perceiver, the process of perceiving, and things perceived. You know this because when you wake up you realize that the dream was unreal and it was your mind alone that gave the whole drama of dream. In the waking reality, the same notion of perceiver, the process of perceiving, and the external things that are perceived exists. Though the waking dream is more organized it of same quality as in dream while sleeping. It is mind alone. For example, during waking reality, you are walking down the street, you see big buildings, amazing cars, brilliant water rides, big malls, libraries, hospitals, doctors, engineers, etc. And the ego-mind, because of its limited consciousness, assumes these things as a separate entity outside. However, after close inspection, it is realized that these all things are mind alone. For example, somebody made Television. Television is nothing but a thought that has been projected outside and has been materialized. Whatever you see outside is mere imagination of mind, it's a mere thought vibration that has assumed its shape because of mind's power of imagination. Again, after close inspection, great yogis found that mind itself is unreal! It is merely a bundle of thoughts, imaginations, impressions, and repetitive habits. When one starts concentration, the mind slowly becomes quite and after long and incessant practice of concentration one is able to subdue all the mental thoughts, there is state of absolute silence, which is also called "no mind state." This state is the experience of supreme truth which is beyond form and names. All you see is mere name and forms which is nothings but a thought vibration in mind. Here is three laws of cause and effect: 1) Every effect has cause 2) Effects are many 3) When you remove cause from the effects, nothings remains Effects are nothing but the cause itself! Effects are merely names. Here is one example: A gold can be turned into many different kinds of bracelets and can be given many different names. No-matter how many different bracelets you make, gold remains the gold. Many bracelets can be made from the gold, but gold cannot be made from bracelets (see the 3rd law above). This means bracelets are merely fancy imagination that took place in one's mind and gold appeared as bracelets. The whole universe appears and disappears like a flash of lightening. It is a mirage. Ignorant people attach themselves with this fanciful imagination and become ingrained with pain and sorrow, which itself is unreal. The time itself is a mere idea that took place in infinite consciousness. Uncountable numbers of universes appeared and disappeared from time immemorial, and this will continue forever. In fact, creation never happens. It is merely thought vibration in the absolute. The waves in the ocean is nothing but the ocean itself! There exist nothing but consciousness alone. Gold is real, all the bracelets made out of gold are mere ideas, mere thoughts, mere imaginations. May all you attain supreme knowledge. Peace, peace, and peace be unto all.
