I agree with you and I am fully supportive of their actions. But, why does every appointee or elected officials in Nepal has to run a populist agenda to show off their work. They don't have office outside Kathmandu, they can hold only 17 people in their custody while they are arresting 30-40 a day and getting into lower level corruption practices. I think they should deal with some serious issues like NEA and others, while trying to expand their resources and reach so that their work becomes more effective. While their actions are very commendable, is it really going to sustain forever ? Can CIAA be at every government office, every day to curve our corruption ! I think they should focus more on structural reform, and enforce more check and balance within bureaucrarcy, so that petty corruptions are punished within that organization while CIAA can focus more on issue that deals with national interest, such as this transformer scandal. Telecom officials who bought substandard A/C should be sacked by telecom, but if somebody is misusing 41 crore from state coffer, CIAA should bring them to justice.
