Why do you think US stopped producing smart phones, including IPhones and the likes? Much of the technology and trained manpower has moved to the Asian powerhouse like Taiwan, China etc. To complement it, they even have plentiful mines of precious metals used in the semiconductor technology. The only thing working for Nepal would be cheap labor and even that is contingent upon no Nepal bandhs, load shedding etc.

It's good to be hopeful, but it is equally important to be realistic. There are thousands of other projects that we can focus on, rather than focusing on entering a really competitive and saturated market with nothing to show for.
