Wit's end, I would be very skeptic about getting in easily in ANY medical school unless you have a permanent residence or citizenship! yah my friend..times have changed in this GREAT COUNTRY! I had a swedish friend last semester who graduated with almost a 4.0, had worked with AIDS patients in Africa for one summer, volunteered in a Hospital Nearby, did a thesis on Alzheimer's disease, did really well in MCAT....I mean if he had applied to grad school, he'd get in anywhere effortlessly, but he had an obsession for med school. his only crime was he was an international student. They asked him to show bank balance of around $140,000 upfront ..i think not only show but have it available at all times and he was not getting any loans :). So, there's your reality check. He's back in Sweden happy and in med school doing well...... there could be exceptions though, that i Don't know of. and i know an Indian american who went to India to start fresh in med school after finishing his undegraduate here ehehe.....
