Marich ji: Thank you for posting the link. You are way too generous in your compliments. Like you said, just my musings. Confused and Dyamn, I appreciate your comments and encouragement. I am glad we are able to disagree without killing eachother. A very close family member disagrees with every opinion of mine: one significant, she thinks Bush is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Oh well, she is entitled to her opinions! On Muslims: One of my neighbors(our community is very diverse) is orthodox muslim with the hizab and the chador. They have been extremely helpful and have the most adorable kids. I looked at them wondering how could anyone just go up to them and hurt them because of what the militants did in Iraq. Militants whether Muslim, or Hindu or communist (Maoists, Shining path) are of a different breed. I would hate for my American neighbors to read the USEFN bombing in Nepal and come after me with a knife. The bottom line is, the Maoists ARE NEPALI but All Nepalese are NOT MAOISTS! But there may also be those enlightened few who hold all Nepalese responsible for the horrible acts of the Maoists. In such a case, you and I will carry the burden of being Nepali Militants for the rest of our lives!
