King Mahendra was already dead when Sikkim was annexed to India in 1973 (1973=2030 BS, Mahendra died in 2028 BS). It happened after the coronation of King Birendra. In the coronation ceremony of King Birendra Sikkimese Chhogyal discussed his worry about probable Indian takeover with the Pakistani and chinese deligates. King Mahedra did not start anti-India sentiment. It happened slowly because of India's behaviour. Who started anti India sentiment in B'desh, a nation generated because of India? or in Sri Lanka?
