it seems like you are going to file I-130 (spouse of either greencard or citizen) to USCIS. If so, there is no option for bank balance and  income. You only use the petitioner(your spouse) and your personal info. It's a different thing if your case is in the National Visa center (NVC) and asking for income statement. I don't think they will check your bank balance. What I know is the petitioner should have income to support you such as , living expenses. I think the immigration office doesn't check how you make a money and how much you have a bank balance, that's not their job. The only thing , the petitioner must show the income, bank balance to support you for living.

P.S.: I don't think you need a lawyer as well unless it's critical case. you can do it by yourself If it's a easy case, spouse of the GC / US citizen. The lawyer does same thing what we do, he collects the documents from you and send it to USCIS, NVC. There is a full insturction online for each application and you can call either USICS or NVC whenever needed. But, it's all upto you. Good Luck.
