The Maoist rebellion has not only devastated Nepal internally in every way imaginable; it has also weakened Nepal's position further vis-a-vis India. I really don't know what to do these days: stop reading nepalnews altogether (yes, that would be one heck of an escapist route), or return to Nepal for good. It's real hard to be a mukdarshak when the country is going down the drain.
