It was a pro maoist movie. But after extensive editing by mainly Nepali Congress editors, it turned out to be an anti Maoist movie. And MJF was adamant to include an item number in the movie. So prachandaji held a referendum and banned the movie :).

On a serious note, it is sad that freedom of expression has been discouraged in Nepal. This will discourage would be filmmakers. At a time when Nepali movies need encouragement, the government is doing exactly the opposite. At the end of the day, movies are purely for entertainment purpose.
