Not worth it if you have to use windows specific softwares (eg. engineering softwares). For casual use, its a good choice. But I would just buy the 13 inch one for that, like someone else suggested. I used mac for 4 years but had to buy a pc because of the hassle of using a virtual machine or boot camp for windows
