goras have so much of achievement behind them to say "i am proud to be an american". But even then many Goras will tell you that they are not proud to be american simply because USA has done bad things too.
When we say "proud to be a Nepali", it should not simply be just because we are born in NEpal.
Especially at present times, being proud does not make much sense. We must have some achievements to back us up.
Based on human, inferiority complex, free market ,simply saying it for the heck of it does not make much sense.
Not being a proud Nepali does not mean one regrets being born in Nepal or is unhappy about it or is any less patriotic.
There are just too many things in our country not to be proud about. That is just my opinion.
