Don't know what's funnier - the fact that a foreigner managed to sneak into the airplane w/ a weapon or the security officials managed to disarm him with limited ease. In any case, considering how dire TIA's infrastructures are - be it entrance, exit doors, location, fences that surround the premises, or mismanagement, it's hardly a shocking news. It's high time we saw a major overhaul and improvised the premises. I swear the airport in Carson City, NV is 10 times better and well-organized than TIA.

Both landing and boarding airplaces on and off the airport is a chore! Does anybody associated w/ it care? Highly doubt it.
