Based merely on this discussion, I don't know how people can support Alex Jones over Piers. I am not saying that Piers is really good, but at least the guy tries to reason and is saner of both. I agree with Alex that it really wasn't a debate that Piers keeps claiming it to be; but his idea on why we need an assault rifle is pretty screwed up.

28th, you just said he wants to take americans liberty, but isn't the basis (1st ammendment) of this liberty-Freedom of Speech?

People who are hating on Piers, mostly sound like they are irritated with his accent, trying to sympathize with the radical south while not understanding they are not Americans themselves, Or just don't know what they are talking about.
