It was long time ago before the era of internet and you tube.  Amitabh Bacchan was even bigger superstar in Bollywood. In Nepal we had only one channel which aired for few hours a day. Newreaders had to wear National dress and one could not conduct interviews in Hindi. It was a big deal  to get an interview from AB. 

 Bijay Kumar asked questions in English for the reason mentioned above and Amitabh Bacchan answered in Hindi ( I think reason given was that more people would understand). I can.t remeber name of the movie but it was interview taken in Jhomson  not KTM where the movie was being shot. AB was asked about Rekha but he was polite with his answers.

I think nothing  much actually happened that is whay there is confusion as to what happened. Ofcourse AB was a superstar and you could see that in that interview but it was perhaps wrong to compare his personality  with that of a promising journalist which some people did to belittle our journalist which I think was unfair.

I can't remeber anything other than language issue in that interview  and nothing worth talking about it after decades.
