There is no doubt that former PM Koirala should ahve asked his party-workers to be calm instead of creating chaos over the airport incident: this would have helped him gain some respect that he seems to have all but lost these days. As for what kind of impression Mahathir would get, I believe he would note that the whole conspiracy (if there was one) is nothing as compared to what he did to his deputy Anwar in the late 90s.
