They were not second devision just in the 10th grade...they had been the worse students since the 4th grade. They were always among the weakest students in the while highschool year..

The prior schooling score is a pretext for one's intellect and motivation for hard work. Now, there could be one or two in thousands who might excell in college after having a crappy school years but majority of them remain second and third division through out their acedemic lives.
