Ashu: Thanks for the article, appreciate it. I had come across the Tibetan Muslim community in the early nineties. One of my colleagues married a Tibetan Muslim girl and and we had been invited to the wedding. The experience was amazing; the women had on traditional Tibetan bakku of beautifully embroidered Satin. There were no "Chadors" or "Burkas" or "Hizabs" worn. Only the ceremony was in muslim tradition. No alcohol was served although, there was dancing and merrymaking.
